A group of four young individuals that had a combined total of 48 years serving the wire harness industry founded SPECIALIZED Contract Manufacturing in 2003. The need for a quality, quick turnaround (customer service oriented), and inexpensive harness manufacturer were the key elements to pursue their dreams. Their extensive background in the industry, helped the venture initiate on the right track. Working in several key manufacturing areas (cutting, crimping, terminating, CFM, and electrical testing equipment) had help them become experts in the industry. During their travels, while cooperating with many well known suppliers to the wire harness industry they became convinced of the need for a world class manufacturing facility available to the US industry.
Headquartered in El Paso, TX, Specialized has successfully positioned itself on the U.S. - Mexico border (the wire harness capital of the world) as a quality manufacturer of wire harnesses. Established with one OEM order, which required 4 operators to run, the company has grown to supply many OEM’s across the US in several industries. We have established a quality system in place and have successfully obtained both UL, CSA & CE Certifications.
